Understanding the Bankruptcy
The official receiver who is handling your case will table all the relevant information about your finances but the case can last for a few years. The most that is required of you is to be cooperative to the official receivers. As long as you offer the required information, the rest is done by the court. The bankruptcy declaration does not leave you out of your business completely. You still have access to the administration through a representative who is chosen by the official office of receiver. The crucial documents that you must hand to the official receivers office include a sworn document that is outlining your past financial history. In some cases, you have to submit copies of these documents. This is the evidence that the court will use to come up with a verdict. You should include your personal information if you are required to do so.
